Responsible for safe & efficient operation of 300 MW Unit by quick decision making appropriate actions as desk engineer, so as to provide optimum generation as per demand keeping the desired parameters within limit and reduction in Generation Loss during plant emergency. Start-up and Shutdown of Boiler/Turbine whenever required and for giving proper instructions & guidance to field operators. Ensuring proper utilization of resources such as water (raw water & DM water), air (instrument air & service air), auxiliary power, coal and oil (HFO, LDO & Plant Lubricants) etc. & reducing their wastage. To issue work permits to all maintenance departments and coordinate with them for equipment isolation and take trial run of equipment’s after shutdown work. Monitoring seamless functioning & effective operations of Turbines, Boilers & BOP.Identifying areas of improvement and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency.

Regular Monitoring and Supervision of utility equipments like ID,FD,PA Fans, Boiler Fill Pumps, CEP, Scanner Air fan, Vacuum pump, Boiler and Turbine parameters, Familiar with HT and LT switch-gear operation and line up procedure. Maintained accurate accountability for auxiliary equipment including air compressors, cooling water pumps, per-lube pumps, fuel oil pumps, and centrifuges. Issue of PTW\'s and working with SAP. Managed Locked and tagged out of equipment by the safe work permit system to ensure a safe work environment for individual involved in maintenance. Shift-operating logs, performs rounds, and report all deficiencies. FGD Operation and Maintenance, ESP and Ash Plant Operation, CHP supervision and Emergency handling in unit abnormal conditions.
