He has been on the Board of Directors of State Cooperative Bank, State Agriculture and Land Development Banks, Stare Marketing Boards and Regional Rural Banks as also Co chaired with senior state level bureaucrats review meetings for Cooperative Banks and Agriculture Schemes. Can guide and mentor employ just starting out as also mentors. In NABARD he has had a wide exposure to policy advocacy, credit planning at the State and District level, coordinated on developmental initiatives with the State and non state stakeholders, worked on micro credit, financial inclusion, skill development, off farm and farm sector, watersheds etc. He has oversee refinance, direct business, funding of infrastructure for rural areas, audit, consultancy functions, evaluation and monitoring studies, supervision of cooperative and rural banks and institutional development as also digitisation projects in such institutions. Overseeing the operations of large offices and related infrastructure including premises for staff etc was also overseen. He worked in SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd) prior to NABARD and was trained extensively in General Management, HR, IR etc and worked as a Junior and Assistant Manager Personnel and General Administration. His first book is The Varied Hues of Life. The Second Book is Culture East and West. The second book was written by my Great Grandfather, Pandit Bishan Das, PES, Principal Retd.
