About Dinesh G
An INSEAD alumni with over 20 years of experience in commercial operations across large Pharma organizations like Torrent, Sanofi, Novartis, Abbott amongst others in multiple therapeutic areas – CNS, Oncology, Cardiac and Metabolics. Currently the Franchise Head/Business Unit Head for Hematology team at Novartis Oncology. Prior to this was the Associate Director/Division Head leading 2 Diabetes teams at Abbott with a team size of ~600 sales personnel;~25 HO team members and annual sales of ~250crs. During my stint at Novartis was a key part of the Galvus launch in India and led the Metabolics Marketing team overseeing a portfolio of INR 800 cr. I take pride in having built the Galvus franchise along with my team since 2010 to be amongst the leading brands in the IPM. Additionally, was responsible to drive key strategic projects in Metabolics for the Region as Lead Diabetes for AMAC countries (a cluster of 91 countries from Asia, Africa and Australia). At Novartis was nominated for the INSEAD (ILPSE) program. As a leader, I foster the ability to engage with people passionately to drive positive business outcomes. Fondly, known as person who can help teams work seamlessly with each other whilst working towards the big picture.
