   Review licenses and contracts to ensure that the software is covered by the contract and properly documented.Coordinate and manage software usage regarding licensing, maintenance, upgrades and utilization and renewal payments.Responsible for compliance in license management for vendors and verifying invoices.Software Inventory Management – Maintain accurate and up to date inventory of all the software assets, including licenses, version, Edition, Contract details, deployments, Inventory clean up etc.Licensing compliance by ensuring the software licensing agreements, terms, and conditions. Monitor and report any non-compliance issues.Software Optimization - Analyze software usage and identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction and improved utilization.Contract Management – Manage software contracts which includes renewals, upgrades, and termination.Process Improvement- Continuously assess and improve SAM processes, procedures, and policies. Process is documented for all SAM tasks.Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with different stakeholders like Procurement, Finance, Product owners etc to ensure effective SAM practices.Audit and Compliance- Support team and prepare for respond to software Audit.Inventory Management – Ensuring inventory of all devices, servers etc is up to date. The report is downloaded from ServiceNow which is integrated with CMDB and agents are installed on all devices. These reports are analyzed with Flexera report. Later the devices which and servers which are not reported or decommissioned are ignored/retired in Flexera tool.Communicate regularly with stake holder and product owners within the organization.Hardware Asset- Ensuring all the ServiceNow request to return the device is returned to inventory after its data is wired out.Hardware Asset- Any query related to dispatch is resolved and dispatch box along with label to return the equipment is arranged for the requestor.Tools – SAP, Ariba, Flexera and ServiceNow.
