About Dina Chandy
People are my passion. Working with individuals, teams, and organizations to brainstorm, innovate, drive and manage change energizes me, as well as empowering people - through onboarding, coaching, training, you name it. I aspire to inspire and my personal mission in life is to engage, educate, and empower those around me. As a Risk & Financial Advisory Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, I have served in the life sciences and healthcare industry for several years, helping clients improve business processes, manage projects, build and conduct risk assessments, execute audits, and develop compliance controls and documentation. In my free time, I enjoy serving non-profit organizations in volunteer leadership roles achieve their goals, solve problems and increase organizational effectiveness across the dimensions of people, process, strategy, structure, and culture. I recently served on the Board of Directors as the VP of Operations for a 501c7 and as Trustee of a 501c3 organization. I\'m constantly seeking learning and growth opportunities. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) focused in Health Systems Management and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) focused in Management from Loyola University Chicago. Always striving to expand my skillset and leave a positive impact on my organizations and surrounding communities, I also earned a PhD in Organization Development and PMP certification. Now, I actively pursue training opportunities to increase my capacity and drive value. In my personal life, I\'ve resided in Chicago and its suburbs my entire life but I enjoy traveling, studying new languages, and trying various cuisines. I have had the opportunity to work at a large healthcare system in Beijing and study abroad across various countries in Southeast Asia and it\'s these experiences, as well as being a first-generation student, that have formed my passion for celebrating diversity in the workplace and learning about and experiencing new cultures.
