Fab Lab Egypt is not only the first fabrication lab in Egypt, and an NGO that consists of an open access environment or a maker space and fabrication machines, that aims at spreading innovation and technology through workshops offered different sectors in the Egyptian community including school students and adults. This project won a reward in Egypt last march in a conference promoting entrepreneurial ideas in Egypt after the revolution of January 25th. We are planning to spread this environment in all over Egypt, and create an online platform of 2 million makers, where they can share their designs and advice.
