ABOUT DIMITRIS KAPLANIS

As a physiotherapist at Nottingham Forest FC, I provide evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for players with sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and low back pain. I also collaborate with coaches, medical staff, and performance analysts to optimize player performance, recovery, and injury prevention. With over four years of work experience in the field, I have developed strong skills in rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies, blood flow restriction training, and manual therapy techniques, which I obtained through multiple certifications. In addition, I am currently pursuing a master\'s degree in sports physiotherapy at the University of Bath, where I aim to enhance my knowledge and practice in this specialized area. Previously, I worked as a physiotherapist at Skordis Physiotherapy Center, where I treated a wide range of patients with various musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, and at Olympiacos FC, where I gained valuable experience in working with elite athletes in a high-pressure environment. My passion for sports physiotherapy stems from my own background as a former amateur soccer player and my interest in helping others achieve their physical and mental potential. My goal is to continue to grow as a professional and contribute to the advancement of sports physiotherapy through research, education, and practice.
