ABOUT DIMITRIOS KELEPOURIS

A dynamic and versatile media professional, a passionate lifelong athlete with extensive experience in the sports industry. Dimitrios\'s career spans roles in journalism, broadcast and media production, event management and sports business, showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence. Currently, he serves as the Broadcast (TV) and Archive coordinator at World Athletics, managing global broadcast content and archiving. Previously, he worked in communications, operations and social media at SEGAS, where he was also a stadium announcer for the biggest major athletics events. Additionally, he has worked with leading media organizations like FOX 29 in Philadelphia and ANT1 in Athens. A former national track and field athlete and a multiple-time champion in race walk, Dimitrios has represented Greece in European and Balkan Championships. Beyond his athletic achievements, he is dedicated to the sport as a certified track judge and an active volunteer, contributing to major events such as the Athens Marathon and supporting initiatives for athletes with disabilities. His academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Journalism from Temple University, where he received several prestigious awards for his work in collegiate broadcasting. Furthermore, a Bachelor\'s degree in Communication, Media and Culture from Panteion University of Athens. Fluent in multiple languages and skilled in media production tools, Dimitrios combines his expertise with a deep-rooted passion for athletics, making a significant impact in the sports community both on and off the field.
