ABOUT DIMARVIN PUERTO
Hello, I’m Dimarvin Puerto, a driven and collaborative Master\'s student, passionate about law, policy, and litigation. As a first-generation college student, I plan to attend law school and be a litigation attorney. As a leader and a mentor on campus, I’ve served as a graduate assistant for the Office of Professional & Career Development, the Provost Student Leadership Advisory Council, among other positions. Moreover, I have had prior experience as a Resident Advisor and a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Panel. Outside of Wake, I was the first undergraduate legal intern for Willkie Farr & Gallagher in their Chicago office through the Chicago Scholars Emerge Program. Additionally, I was one of the inaugural Black Men Lawyers’ Association Rising Star awardees in 2024.Finally, I have diverse and impactful experiences in the non-profit and policy debate fields, as well as in social media marketing and alumni relations. As a result, I am a strong-minded individual with substantial experience in communication, facilitation, and event organization. Also, I am fluent in Spanish and English.
