Responsible for overseeing the smooth and effective running of all HR functions across multiple sites within the business, providing strategic and operational HR support while reporting directly to key stakeholders, including the business owners- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead end-to-end recruitment across all sites, from advertising vacancies to interviewing and onboarding, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-quality talent- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, offering clear guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices. Manage employee relations cases, such as disciplinaries and grievances, with a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with employment legislation and internal policies, maintaining accurate HR documentation and supporting audits across locations- Performance Management: Oversee the appraisal process, supporting managers across sites to set meaningful objectives and drive employee development and performance- Training & Development: Identify training needs throughout the business and coordinate development initiatives to upskill employees and strengthen organisational capability- HR Reporting: Produce regular HR reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, including the business owners, highlighting key metrics such as turnover, absence, and recruitment performance- Policy Development: Review, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures to reflect current legislation and industry best practice- Wellbeing & Engagement: Champion wellbeing and engagement initiatives, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture across all sites- Payroll: Collaborate closely with payroll to ensure accurate weekly and monthly processing and quickly resolve any discrepancies.
