I bring more than a decade of experience working in higher education administration, with experience in residence life, assessment, training and development, advising, and alumni and volunteer engagement. My interests lie in strategic planning and how units set, reach, and assess program goals, effective training and development strategies for various university stakeholders (staff, students, volunteers), and leveraging philanthropy (both time/talent as well as treasure) to further higher education\'s impact and influence in society.

   Mar 2022 — Present

   Lead alumni engagement strategy for the UNC School of Medicine, including alumni relations staff supervision, volunteer management, signature event planning, and oversight of operations budget of nearly $1 million annually-Coordinate a scholarship program which includes more than 80 individual awards and $2 million annually, including oversight of the student application and selection process and coordinating dissemination of funds-Oversee signature alumni programming for School of Medicine, such as alumni weekends and reunion programming-Support stewardship efforts of donors to medical education, including coordinating stewardship events, soliciting meaningful thank you materials from students, and identifying promising stories of impact-Partner with School of Medicine departments on engagement of resident/fellow alumni and other constituents, providing scalable engagement solutions including event support, financial sponsorship, and registration/invitation solutions-Coordinate with colleagues in Student Affairs on student-focused programming and support, such as Orientation, Graduation, and White Coat Ceremony-Develop and coordinate communication strategy for more than living School of Medicine alumni
