ABOUT DILLON UDAGAWA
I’m Dillon Udagawa, a Business Management Economics student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, pursuing a career as a Commercial Real Estate Broker. My goal is to grow into a well-rounded professional who contributes to shaping the next generation of real estate through innovation, mentorship, and strong industry connections.I currently serve as Founder and Chair of the Young Professionals Group Committee at the Renaissance Global Network, where I lead initiatives designed to prepare young professionals for success in Commercial Real Estate. Through this role, I’ve had the privilege of working with industry leaders like Blair Gilbert, Michael Simpson, Rich Enderlin, and Jeff Finn, while hosting events and development workshops that connect students and professionals from around the world.I’m fortunate to be mentored by James Huang, Managing Director of RESAAS Commercial, and former President of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA). James has built an incredible global network through his leadership in companies such as RESAAS, BRC Advisors, and the Renaissance Global Network, connecting thousands of professionals across the commercial real estate industry. His experience and success have shaped how I view the business, emphasizing the power of relationships, adaptability, and innovation. Through his mentorship and these networks, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with professionals and leaders around the world, gaining insights that continue to guide my development as I pursue my path in CRE brokerage.Through programs like Project Destined and the CBRE Commercial Real Estate Bridge Program, I’ve gained hands-on experience in property valuation, financial analysis, and market research. These opportunities have given me a strong foundation to build on as I work toward becoming a successful CRE broker who brings value and integrity to every client relationship.My background reflects a commitment to leadership, service, and continuous growth. As an Eagle Scout with Triple Palm, I led projects that continue to support seniors in my community through the Venice Japanese Community Center’s Senior Nutrition Program. I’ve also volunteered with Project Angel Food and St. Paul Dual Language Academy, experiences that strengthened my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.At my core, I’m motivated by curiosity, connection, and the drive to make a lasting impact in Commercial Real Estate.
