About Dillon Mathewson

My name is Dillon Mathewson, and I was born on the West Side of Buffalo, New York on June 9th 1992. While I was born in the North, I was raised in the South; having grown up in the “Queen City” of Charlotte, North Carolina. It was there that I attended school at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and received my degree in Environmental Science. With a passion for all things aquatic, at the age of 16 I fell in love with scuba diving. While completing my senior project in highschool, I was tasked with becoming scuba certified for graduation. I was so passionate about my newfound hobby that I began my advanced scuba training and at the age of 18 I became one of the youngest scuba instructors in the nation. For the next 10 years, I served as shop manager and was able to showcase my leadership abilities by guiding local, regional, and international scuba diving trips for our clients. Through my natural ability to speak and communicate with people of all ages and walks of life, I am able to transfer my skill sets into the Mortgage Industry. When I’m not writing up mortgage loans you can usually find me offshore scuba diving. NMLS 20•••13
