Manual QA responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of highly reliable, user-friendly software products for mobile friendly applications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate testing activities by managing teams comprising Associates, Programmer Analysts, and Trainees, ensuring alignment with project timelines and standards.Design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases—including functional, regression, usability, exploratory, and UI/UX testing across mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms.Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and automation teams to clarify requirements, drive test coverage, and synchronize release efforts.Track and drive quality by meticulously identifying, logging, and tracking defects using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, QASE, or similar systems—ensuring issues are reproducible and properly resolved.Validate fixes and updates through regression testing, build verification, hotfix checks, and production release validations to maintain product integrity.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives), providing test-driven input in requirement review sessions.Ensure consistent user experience through comprehensive cross-browser, cross-device, and environment testing, supported by robust test data, environment setups, and staging validation.Maintain clear documentation of test results, defect logs, and testing progress to inform project status and quality metrics.Drive continuous improvement by advocating for QA best practices, automation-readiness, test strategy enhancements, and usability standards throughout the SDLC.
