ABOUT DILIA PALACIOS

As a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT IV), my journey in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has been both rewarding and transformative. I work exclusively with children, and every day I’m reminded of the power of compassion, structure, and evidence-based intervention in helping them grow and thrive. Through hands-on experience, I’ve built a strong foundation in behavior analysis, data collection, and the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans. I’ve also developed key skills in patience, empathy, and communication qualities that are essential in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My long-term goal is to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) so I can take on a greater leadership role in designing and overseeing behavior plans that truly meet each child’s unique needs. Right now, I’m actively supporting my supervising BCBA by collaborating on behavior intervention strategies, assisting with team coordination, and helping to create a cohesive and supportive environment for both staff and clients. Through these experiences, I’m learning the importance of effective team building—how clear communication, consistency, and mutual support can elevate the quality of care we provide. I’m passionate about continuing to grow in this field and committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of the children and families I serve.
