Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Customer Delivery, I am responsible for overseeing all Training Team activities as well as liaising with other teams within the company: sales, help desk, development, business analysis and project management. In addition to this, I am responsible for delivering discovery training and workshops and consequently implementing new customers.• As part of our business process review, I have assisted in re-engineering our internal training and implementation workflows.• Preparing for and delivering discovery overview training;• Running discovery workshops to identify and document potential gaps and new requirements, agree workflows and prepare a solution overview;• Providing consultancy on system configuration and usage;• Assisting customers with business process mapping onto Dolphin;• Preparing and delivering classroom style software user training on our Dolphin for Windows travel agency front, mid and back office management system;• Offering consultancy style training and support to enterprise customers;• Confidently dealing with a variety of travel agency staff - from a front office Sales Consultant to a Financial Director;• managing, supporting and monitoring the development of all members of the Training Team (4 staff including myself). This also includes ensuring that internal training requirements are fulfilled (for new and existing members of staff, across all teams);• Providing technical support to Dolphin software users – this includes answering calls, researching problems, interfacing with development, communicating solutions back to users, and documenting the issues/solutions;• Preparing and maintaining end user printed and on-line technical documentation on the Dolphin for Windows system;• Assisting with the testing of new software releases;• Assisting with software demonstrations at trade shows, etc;• Recruiting new training team members as demand grows.
