ABOUT DILAY KARAKADIOGLU

Driven by a curiosity about the world and a deep enthusiasm for ongoing global challenges, I embarked on my journey in 2014 by pursuing studies in Political Sciences at Université catholique de Louvain. My academic focus encompasses multilateral affairs, politics, including its administrative and legal framework, digital diplomacy, and compliance with international resolutions, treaties, and agreements. In September 2019, I proudly completed my Master\'s in Public Administration with a concentration in management and political work at UCLouvain and Università Bocconi.As a fervent advocate of women\'s rights, I have consistently maintained a strong focus on gender-related issues and have been deeply involved in various initiatives promoting gender equality and women\'s empowerment.In addition to my academic pursuits, I am passionate about the management of fashion and luxury companies. Besides, deeply committed to youth empowerment, I have been actively involved in various youth associations, including serving as the President of APNU Jeunes, participating in student representation, and engaging in Model United Nations activities.Having joined the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs 🤝 in August 2021, I embarked on a professional journey that has brought me to serve at the Belgian Embassy in Kinshasa since August 2022, within the Development Cooperation section. In this capacity, I oversee key portfolios, including education, gender, youth, decent work, and the restitution of cultural assets. My commitment to contributing to positive change and making a meaningful impact drives me in every endeavor.
