I am a Clinical Radiology Registrar in the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and a Clinical AI Fellow at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital. My work focuses on:*AI in Diagnostics: Developing cutting-edge solutions for early Alzheimer’s detection, stroke diagnosis, and imaging AI.*Healthcare AI Safety: Creating regulatory frameworks to ensure ethical and safe AI deployment in clinical settings.*Patient Empowerment: Leveraging AI to improve health literacy and patient outcomes.*Industry Collaboration: Partnering with health-tech companies to build, train, and refine machine learning (ML) and large language models (LLMs) for real-world healthcare applications.Beyond clinical practice, I foster collaboration and growth:*Founded and lead a member network of Turkish-speaking doctors in the UK, supporting career development and integration.*Organised scientific and digital health conferences, bridging gaps between clinicians, researchers, and technologists.*Spearheaded audits, QI projects, and teaching initiatives, demonstrating my ability to drive systemic improvements.I’m passionate about bridging healthcare and AI.
