As a substitute teacher for grades 9-12 at Fort Hamilton High School, I’ve successfully delivered engaging lessons across diverse subjects, including history, science, English, math, health, and business. My primary responsibilities include- Providing seamless classroom coverage in the absence of full-time teachers, ensuring that lessons are executed effectively while maintaining a structured and supportive environment- Designing and delivering subject-specific instruction that keeps students on track with curriculum goals- Undertaking a 40-day long-term teaching assignment for geometry, SAT prep, and college aptitude classes, where I prepared over 90 students for the PSAT and supported their academic readiness- Following the successful completion of SAT prep, I was entrusted with the unique opportunity to teach students how to start a business and introduce them to the fundamentals of investing. Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, I guided students in creating and presenting business plans, equipping them with essential entrepreneurial skills and a foundational understanding of financial literacy.This role has allowed me to make a meaningful impact on students\' academic and personal growth, combining real-world insights with innovative teaching methods to prepare them for future success.
