   I contributed to the development of AI-powered educational tools designed to enhance the tutoring experience for K–12 students across dozens of classrooms during pilot testing. My work centered on building intelligent agents that interfaced with OpenAI APIs to deliver adaptive, context-aware learning support tailored to individual student needs.I fine-tuned large language models for education-specific tasks and optimized prompt chaining, which cut model response time by over 1.2 seconds and significantly improved relevance based on qualitative instructor feedback. To improve usability, I implemented a dynamic loading overlay and real-time error feedback system that helped reduce confusion during API delays and led to a measurable increase in completed student interactions during testing.I also integrated automated fallback logic for failed API responses, which reduced support tickets by over 30 during the initial rollout and improved platform reliability across key classroom sessions.Over the course of the internship, I collaborated with frontend and backend teams using TypeScript, React, and RESTful APIs within a fast-paced Agile environment.
