About Kevin Diggs
My role at BT has grown to providing expertise in logical platform design, build, and troubleshooting for the following: • Network platforms built on customer dedicated and/or shared infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, load-balancers) spanning multiple BT Data Centers • The core network that connects the data centers to one another and to other cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCS, etc.) • Network access gateways that extend connectivity to 3rd partiesMy job is to maintain a high level of customer service and support, which is done with an attention to detail by: • Generating, reviewing, and maintaining documentation that defines compartmentalized, isolated network platforms for multiple customers • Generating and reviewing implementation plans for complex network & firewall changes/migrations • Implementing complex network changes/migrations that may involve multiple teams and/or affect multiple customers • Planning for continuous improvement of network infrastructure and operations • Providing 3rd line support for the 1st line network operations team • Providing support and mentorship to 1st line network operations team and new joiners
