About Dieynabou Diallo
I have over ten years of experience in creating and leading strategic planning processes, convening and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and initiating and managing program activities that advance local and collective action on climate change.I am also a self-employed Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Consultant, advising clients on strengthening their community and volunteer engagement, partnership-building, and corporate practices. Previously, I was a Climate Justice Program Manager at PowerSwitch Action, a national network that works with grassroots organizations to build collective power across cities in the U.S. I hold a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Certificate in International Development Policy from the same institution. I am passionate about achieving racial and gender justice and taking an intersectional approach to problem-solving. I am obsessed with creating inclusive and justice-oriented processes to reach solutions and decisions. I have wide-ranging professional experiences from working in a classroom in the Bronx to supporting grassroots leaders working to solve the climate crisis. I love hiking and backcountry camping, traveling internationally, and watching competitive cooking shows.
