About Diego Torres Platt
I am currently a senior at Southern Methodist University studying Economics with Financial Applications. I am originally from Miami, Florida, where I attended Gulliver Preparatory School. Within my first year at SMU, I joined the Boulevard Investment Group as a Junior Analyst and the professional fraternity Delta Sigma Pi in hopes of furthering my education in business. In the summer of 2023, I was fortunate enough to have joined Seale & Associates, a boutique investment bank specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions, as a Junior Analyst to begin building my experience as a full-time employee in the finance industry. Starting from January of 2025, I joined Park Cities Asset Management, a private credit shop with $500MM AUM as an analyst intern on their investment team. All of these experiences have led me to become a resolute leader, dedicated student, and an effective communicator. Throughout my academic career at SMU, I hope to continue pursuing positions in private wealth management and alternative asset management.
