Research and development engineer with experience in different research centers/countries: ITACA (Spain), Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), LINCS (France), CEA-IoT (Colombia). I have led research groups promoting academy/industry collaborations, and worked in consulting in R&D. I have experience leading product development for a start-up, managing software development teams in different product lines. I led the development of digital identity technologies based on face recognition, identity document validation and data analysis. I have also experience developing end-to-end pipelines for Machine Learning based products. I have been working for 14 years in R&D, and obtained a Ph.D. in telecommunications engineering from Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (Spain). Currently, I am senior biometrics research scientist.
