Lead the development of a 3.3 MW, 2.5 kV high-voltage DC–DC converter platform for zero-emission mining and heavy EV applications.• Take responsibility for the HV power stage using 3.3 kV SiC MOSFETs and liquid-cooled high-frequency magnetics, targeting >99.5% peak efficiency within stringent EMI, isolation, creepage, and clearance constraints.• Design in-house precision voltage & current detection to meet accuracy and HV requirements.• Lead an engineering team across architecture, PCB & magnetics design, DV builds, and lab validation — owning design reviews, verification plans, and lab procedures.• Work directly with semiconductor, magnetics, and passive suppliers to secure cutting-edge components and de-risk the design.• Collaborate daily with CFD, Thermal, Design Verification, Integration, Requirements, and DFMA teams to converge on a manufacturable and serviceable design.• Oversee DV manufacturing and testing campaigns, capture performance data, and drive iterations toward production readiness.• Serve as co-inventor on a patent covering high-speed overcurrent protection for HV DC–DC converters (patent pending, 2025).• Manage HV DC–DC lab operations, including safety processes, equipment readiness, and scheduling.• Hold internal certification for live HV work on energized HV systems (2025).
