ABOUT DIEGO MINGARELLI

Diego is an entrepreneur and firm believer in sustainability. He is President and CEO of DIASEN, an innovative company that develops and manufactures eco-sustainable products for the green building industry and it has been included in several editions of the prestigious GreenItaly report, as one of the 100 Green Building Italian Excellences. Diasen is a B Corp® certified company and it officially entered the global network of over companies that voluntarily meet certain standards of transparency, accountability and sustainability. Recently it acquired the status of Benefit Corporation. Diasen’s leading product has been awarded the Sustainable Development Award, sponsored by the Presidency of Italian Republic, for \"its high technological content, the use of natural raw materials and the idea of green chemistry based on the intelligence of the materials\". Diego was a member of the Advisory Board of the Italian Green Building Council for some years. From November 2015 until November 2021 he was Vice President of Piccola Industria Confidustria, in charge of: Europe, Development and Territorial Cohesion, Resilience and Emergency Management Program (EMP). Topics on which he’s focusing on are resilience and business continuity as values for companies, the territory and the entire supply chain. Based on these values, as head of the EMP, he managed aid to companies and people affected by the 2016 earthquake in central Italy. During the Covid-19 crisis, he identified the procedures to keep business continuity, to facilitate the supply of PPE to SMEs and to support the industrial changeover for the production of sanitary masks.
