   I lead MPI’s Latin America and Caribbean Program, which acts as a policy laboratory to develop evidence-based research and innovative, effective policy solutions for the migration challenges facing Latin America and the Caribbean.Collaboratively authored numerous policy briefs, reports, and commentaries on migration and refugee crises, which have been instrumental in shaping the agendas of government, UN, and multilateral officials across LAC countries. These contributions have significantly influenced key initiatives such as the Los Angeles Declaration (a regional political commitment to manage migration), the Quito Process (coordinating policies for the Venezuelan migration crisis), the South American Conference on Migration (annual dialogue on regional migration policies), GFMD (Global Forum on Migration and Development), MIRPS (Regional Conference on Migration Processes), and Solidarity Conferences, offering effective strategies for tackling complex migration challenges.Creating comprehensive policy memos for Governments, UN agencies, and multilateral organizations to address large-scale migratory movements effectively.
