About Diego Bohorquez
As a proud Latino transfer student and third culture kid at the University of South Florida, I bring resilience, adaptability, and ambition to every opportunity. My journey has fueled a passion for leadership, community representation, and relationship driven finance. Through my experience working as a Loan Officer Specialist at OneMain Financial, I gained hands on exposure to credit analysis, loan origination, and client advising, helping customers navigate financing solutions while maintaining strong portfolio quality and compliance standards. Alongside this experience, I continue to develop my financial and analytical foundation through investment research roles at the USF Investment Club and the Private Equity and Venture Capital Club, where I conduct company valuation work, equity research, and financial modeling projects. I am also the Founder of the USF chapter of Prospanica and a member of Scholars of Finance, where I focus on leadership development, ethical decision making in finance, and expanding opportunities for students within the business community. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting at the University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business after earning an Associate of Arts in Finance from Hillsborough Community College. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I am motivated to grow within the financial services industry by combining financial analysis, credit experience, and relationship building to support clients and businesses in achieving their financial goals.
