Giving maintenance and ensuring service availability in Lumos Batch team, which is responsible for processing Amazon businesses\' payment data in batch.Key Contributions:• Led the design and development of a new feature to rename and delete files from Amazon partners, removing all manual retries due to transient networking requests and service limitations.• Worked as an away-team member to help cross functional teams leverage rename and delete async feature for file transfers, adding the missing pieces, such as integration with SNS, Step Functions workflow updates, adding metrics and monitoring mechanisms, ensuring file transactions had 0% drops while a batch of files were renamed or deleted in the Lumos Batch network.• Elaborated a solution to compress data transfers for file configurations of arbitrary size in AWS Step Functions to avoid breaching data size limit, allowing 100% of requests to succesfully complete in our workflows regardless of stage input size.• Led the design and development of a complete integration test package suite in Java using Testng to assess service availability for Portus, a new service that brings partners closer to Amazon.• Integrated availability tests in Portus CI/CD pipelines, ensuring artifact deployments to succeed and correct software functionality, reducing regressions and rollbacks due to untested functionality by 90%.• Refactored major services in Portus by adding new AWS resources through CloudFormation templates, parameterized based on client input, offering a customizable infrastructure creation per tenant.• Deprecated unused services, virtual servers, repositories, and CI/CD pipelines following model change management, optimizing budget.
