About Diego Orozco

College Junior at Grand Canyon University studying Sports Business, as well as Business Analytics. I have graduated with my Associate of Arts Degree from South Puget Sound Community College out of Olympia, Washington, as well as with my high school diploma from Black Hills High School out of Tumwater, Washington. In my past, I have taken intro level computer science classes as well as intros to stats, and am looking to become even more proficient in these areas while in school. I have also been watching all things sports since the age of five, and played basketball and baseball throughout high school. My ambition for sports is uncanny, and I carry a deep knowledge of stats in both football and basketball, particularly with numbers. The ultimate goal I have is to obtain a job combining the use of sports and stats, and becoming a data analyst for a sports team or network; either or. I worked as a cashier at Chipotle for almost a year. Working there taught me a lot of customer experience skills and ensuring that the customer is always happy, by putting them before yourself. Other job skills that I carry include being independent, managing my time effectively, being able to communicate with my coworkers and customers, and adapting in an unforeseen or tough position to make things work as efficiently as possible. Although I do not carry any experience in the sports industry just yet, I am eager and more than willing to learn what it takes to make it in the field.
