About Diego Estrin

My passion is fueled by two key areas: Sustainability and the impact that Air Cargo can have on our society.I believe in the power of Leadership, as Maya Angelou wisely said, “You know better, you do better.” Sustainability thrives on knowledge sharing, and I particularly admire leaders who generously share their expertise. When Leaders develop their own skills and also empower their teams through mentoring and constructive feedback, they significantly enhance team performance. The same principle applies to Sustainability: the more we share sustainable solutions, the better future we can create for the generations to come.A great example of this commitment to Social Responsibility was our initiative in April 2024, where we partnered strategically to implement a circular economy project. We delivered school kits made from reused operational waste from airplane seats and curtains to children in Cartagena, Colombia, under the care of ‘Aldeas Infantiles SOS’. Seeing the smiles on those children’s faces as they received their new backpacks and lunch boxes was a powerful reminder of the difference we can make in someone’s life. On a personal note, playing the piano, guitar, and bass, as well as writing songs, nurtures my resilience and creativity. I also enjoy soccer and pickleball, which bring out my competitive spirit and teamwork.Finally, I deeply admire organizations that genuinely make a difference in society—those that are multiculturally aware, respectful, and operate with integrity and authenticity.
