I am a dedicated leader and aspiring civil engineer with a unique blend of hands-on military experience, real-world transportation exposure, and cutting-edge technical education.Currently serving in the US Air Force Reserves as a Structural Craftsman, I lead philosophically diverse teams in managing personnel, equipment, and complex operations to deliver mission-critical results. I excel at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, streamlining processes, reducing waste, and boosting productivity, all while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.As a Rail Division Intern at the Texas Department of Transportation in Austin, I manage the State of Texas portion of the U.S. DOT/FRA National Highway-Rail Crossing Inventory and the Texas Railroad Information Management System (TRIMS) for all public at-grade rail crossings. This role provides practical insight into rail infrastructure, project planning, operational analysis, and transportation policy, allowing me to apply engineering principles directly to real-world challenges and contribute to large-scale public infrastructure initiatives that keep Texas moving safely and efficiently.In parallel, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Texas State University. The program’s distinctive emphasis on Technology-Enhanced Infrastructure, including sensors, data analytics, predictive modeling, maintenance protocols, and asset management, equips me with forward-thinking tools to design, monitor, and manage resilient infrastructure systems.I am passionate about solving complex infrastructure problems through collaboration, innovation, and disciplined execution.
