Underwriting post closed residential mortgage loans for clients. Assisting clients in reducing the defect rate and curing the defects to the best possible extends to ensure delivery of high quality products to the investors-Responsible for Post-Closing QC U/W for Conventional transaction- Used to underwrite 5-Files each day which includes Four section as - Credit - In credit section we used to check credit score, Mortgage Liabilities, Installment, Revolving and Treatment of disputed trade-line etc, and need to take care for the inquires reflecting in credit report require LOX( Letter of Explanation) for the inquires- Income- In the income section we have to evaluate the borrower on the basis of borrower is employed or selfemployed if employed need to calculate the income from the Pay stub or written verification of employment with W-2 form(Form-16) for the previous year if borrower is Self employed need to calculate income from the borrower personal tax return, Business return from the most recent last two years- Asset- In the asset section we have to check bank statement in the name of borrower with in the 45 days of loan application and need to find if there are any recurring deduction which could be and additional liability which is not reflecting on the borrower credit report and any large deposit(More than 50% of the qualifying income) which could we result of any kind of new loan which was not disclosed on the credit report - Collateral- In this section we have to evaluate the Property Appraisal Report, Title Report and the Residential Purchase Contract on the basis of guidelines- Reviewing and calculate HTI and DTI ratio- Cross trained for Lease,Bank Statement,First review process(Compliance review)- Worked for different clients- SME and Backup lead support in the team.
