Westside Purple Line Extension, Section 1. • Manage Westside Purple Line Extension Section 1 designer, Parsons Transportation Group (PTG). • Review and approve/reject all Requests for Information (RFIs), Submittals, Engineering Change Instructions (ECIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Transmittals, etc submitted to PTG for accuracy and for correct billing hours, and designations (base scope, change work, ECI, etc). • Create billing spreadsheet for tracking all hours assigned and billed to each respective RFI, Submittal, etc to prevent overbilling. Ensure document control for all parties has the correct hours listed in their document management systems. • Approve/Reject additional hours requested by designer for specific items on a case by case basis. Obtain input from responsible engineers for respective items, as necessary. • Develop cost analysis and forecast of Design Services During Construction (DSDC) costs. • Assist in critical thinking process to solve any commercial issues between contractor and designer. • Create MODs to PTG when changes are issued by contractor and the owner (LA Metro). • Review and approve all weekly timesheets sent by PTG and subcontractors as well as all invoices for Base Scope work, DSDC, and Owner-Issued Changes. Code invoices in OnBase and route for approval.
