ABOUT DIANE PELLICONE

I received my Master of Arts in Art History from Carleton University, where I developed a keen interest in Canadian and Indigenous art history and visual culture. Since graduating, I have held curatorial and exhibition coordinator positions at Humber Galleries, the Royal Ontario Museum, Aimia Inc.\'s corporate art collection, the Darling Foundry, and RiverBrink Art Museum. I bring with me ten years of experience working with commercial galleries as well as non-profit organizations, large and small. With my unique ability to move freely between the private and public sectors, my qualifications in project management and content development have only grown stronger. For instance, I can provide support during the planning phases of exhibitions and gallery rotations, while developing content strategies in collection management and image acquisition. In addition, I can coordinate project deliverables, including budget tracking, the transportation and storage of objects, and gallery installations. Adjacent to my work experience, I also served as Vice Chair with the Group of Ontario Emerging Museum Professionals (GOEMP) Committee, where I support a community of art and culture professionals within the province for six years. My other interests include provenance research, copyright laws, heritage preservation, community outreach, and art publications.
