As a principal at Amazon, I apply my 15 years of experience in researching, writing, and briefing customers on national security issues to help Amazon look around corners and mitigate risk to people, infrastructure, ideas, and brand. In this role, I have grown passionate about assessing risk at the intersection of geopolitics and technology. I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality analysis on priority one topics: cloud computing infrastructure, artificial intelligence (AI), domestic violent extremism, weapons of mass destruction, nuclear security, and international terrorism. I have a strong background in geopolitics, policy, and national security, having served in three US Embassies abroad and as a senior political analyst at the US Department of State.
