Global Military Lactation Community is dedicated to lactation peer support, education, and advocacy for military families. As a member of the board, I have been involved in decision making on issues of governance, operations, and advocacy, as well as ensuring adherence to bylaws and policies. Global MilCom is also home to the Military Lactation Counselor® professional credential. As an IBCLC and program mentor, I advise students who are moving through the program and review scholarship applications.
