About Diane Wiener
From high-throughput screening bacteria that convert low-cost carbon sources like methane into high-value industrial products to building microscopes to measure the mechanical stability of individual proteins, the driving theme of my career is to design, create, and harness biological systems to solve real-world problems. Leveraging graduate and postdoctoral training in mechanical engineering, biophysics, and molecular biology, I have a strong, personal drive to develop socially-responsible commercial applications of technology. I am interested in contributing to organizations that recognize the commercial value of producing products that positively impact people\'s lives.
