I am responsible for providing Neurohospitalist NP care within in a 500 bed facility as a member of the IMG provider group. Respond as first line care to in-house stroke alerts while providing hyperacute pt assessment, acute stroke management, and emergent care within a comprehensive stroke center. Additional responsibilities include ongoing evaluations, treatment, and care to admitted Neurosurgery, EMU, & stroke patients. I work with 7 Neuro Hospitalists to create daily patient management plans. Some of my key contributions include:*Provide support and collaboration to the IMG medical group in ensuring required metrics are being upheld in order to maintain comprehensive stroke center designation as a facility.*Serving as a preceptor and resource to new graduate IMG midlevel providers within the IMG medical group.
