   Diane Goddard brings her experience in incorporating budgets and strategic plans with academic units. She was most recently the chief financial officer and vice provost for finance at the University of Kansas (KU), where she worked closely with the chancellor on fiscal strategies for the university, particularly in relation to tuition, finance, capital projects, athletics, and the research foundation.Some highlights from her past work include:Led KU’s Changing for Excellence administrative efficiency effort which comprised 11 initiatives that generated $51 million in cost savings, new revenue, and cost avoidance. Coordinated the Central District Redevelopment which was a $350-million, P3-funded project which included a new integrated science facility, central power plant, residence hall and dining commons, student apartment complex, parking garage, and a student union building.Created the Business Intelligence initiative and then combined it with the Office of Institutional Research and Planning to create the Office of Analytics & Institutional Research.Spearheaded the Enterprise Project Management office.Her role included other responsibilities, including leadership or stewardship for the offices of finance, IT, facilities, construction management, environment health & safety, parking, HR, public safety, emergency management, global operations, and internal audit.
