Both are based at the University of Florida, Gainesville, and I telework from northern Virginia.Brechner Project duties include coordinating national Sunshine Week 2024, researching/writing/editing the monthly Brechner Report newsletter, strategic planning, legal research projects, website/social media development, communications planning and academic publications.The Brechner Project is an incubator for ideas and initiatives that give the public timely and affordable access to the information necessary for informed, participatory citizenship. The Brechner Project educates journalists, policymakers and the general public about the law of access at the local, state and federal levels, with an emphasis on how it can be improved.
