This Report has become a key tool for policy advisors both within government and in the public sector as a reference guide for influencing provincial and territorial government policy decisions regarding adult vaccinations. Dementia Report - 2022 The first of its kind in Canada, benchmarked the progress being made in each province and territory to prepare for the rapidly growing rate of dementia. It also looks at our National Dementia Strategy and the role the federal government has to play in stewarding, and funding, a collaborative approach to this work across the country.Legislative Lobbying, Meeting with Ministers, and Governmental Presentations Draft policy briefs and/or presentations. Speak on the record during meetings with Ministers or in front of Standing Committees. Public Speaking and Conducting Focus GroupsStrong focus on community building. Organized, moderated and/or participated in focus groups of Canadians on issues affecting older Canadians such as ageism in the workplace, and designing long-term care homes.

ABOUT DIANA CABLE
As CanAge’s Director of Policy and Research, Diana Cable has responsibility for driving the organization’s social mission on behalf of older Canadians and their supporters. She leads government affairs and legislative campaigns for CanAge, Canada’s National Seniors’ Advocacy Organization. A 30-year professional with expertise in both the private and non-profit sectors, Diana has particular empathy with the many challenges faced by seniors and their families. Diana leads CanAge’s work in the areas of government relations, education and impact. Recently, she led the landmark development of the VOICES of Canada’s Seniors: A Roadmap to An Age-Inclusive Canada policy platform This work creates a synthesis and workable strategy for seniors, policy-makers, organizations, and community members take actionable steps in planning for our aging population. Prior to her work at CanAge, Diana was a partner in a national health and seniors’ care navigation firm. She also has extensive experience in housing and business sectors. Diana holds certificates in Coaching, Health Care Navigation, Leadership and Communications. She holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from McGill University.
