ABOUT DIANA NGUYEN
Dedicated fourth-year nursing student with a deep passion for enhancing the health and well-being of others through exceptional, patient-centered care. My hands-on experience as a Patient Care Technician and Student Nurse Extern at a Level I Trauma Center for almost two years, combined with shadowing in multiple ICU units, has allowed me to cultivate proficiency in managing high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environments. I am adept at maintaining composure in high-pressure situations and leveraging leadership skills to foster interdisciplinary collaboration. By time of graduation in May 2025, I will have completed over 700 clinical hours acquired from a range of different specialties on top of additional hours shadowing different ICUs. I aspire to drive meaningful change in the nursing profession by advocating for evidence-based practices, promoting health equity, and advancing into specialized roles to benefit both the healthcare team and patients.
