ABOUT DIANA WARD
Ms. Ward serves as Vice President and the Utility Coordination Department Manager at Cobb Fendley in the Houston office. She is responsible for managing the Utility Coordination Department which consists of the Utility Coordination Group, SUE Group, Broadband Group and the Data Utilization/GIS Group. She also serves as the On-Call Engineer for Utility Coordination and SUE for the Harris County Flood Control District. As a former manager with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (AT & T Texas), she has over 16 years of experience in telephone facilities utility coordination on large municipal projects. She gained extensive experience in in planning, scheduling, developing and implementing reimbursement agreements and task orders, preparing estimates, engineering designs, managing construction activities and coordinating reimbursement payments. Ms. Ward also served as the Single Point of Contact/Project Manager for City of Houston and Harris County Capital Improvement Projects where she was responsible for the design and construction activities required to relocate facilities in conflict with the CIP projects. Additionally, Ms. Ward has 4 years of experience as a Project Manager with the City of Houston where she was responsible for the design and construction of sanitary sewer rehabilitation projects. She also has over 9 years of experience as a Unit Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer/Responsible Engineer with Bechtel, Inc. where she was responsible for preparing project scope work plans, schedules, budgets, studies, reports, forecasts, specifications, material requisitions, bid analysis, design drawings, hydraulic calculations, as well as coordinating construction activities on various power plant projects. Ms. Ward has 2 years of experience with the City of Austin Electric Utility where she was the Engineering Supervisor for the Overhead and Underground Distribution Engineering section for south Austin. Ms. Ward also has 6 months of experience with Metropolitan Transit Authority as a Project Manager II where she was responsible for the engineering, budget, and schedule for various small projects.
