As a community development professional with more than eight years of success across sectors, I have significant experience in program & project management, teaching & facilitation, writing, public engagement, and partnership development. I am particularly adept at working with a variety of audiences, analyzing their familiarity with a topic to tailor my presentation of information. In my current role as a city planner, I take pride in my abilities to uphold adopted code through thorough planning and zoning reviews; guide residents through established processes and procedures; and support a small city’s growth and development while retaining the diversity that makes it unique.My areas of interest include walkable/multi-modal accessible communities, placemaking, affordable housing development & preservation, land use/bank/trust policy, adaptive reuse, and redevelopment of vacant, abandoned, deteriorated, and underutilized spaces.
