ABOUT DIANA OLIVA
During the course of my career so far, I have supported the recruiting function for two Fortune 500 companies within the hospitality field. I was an opening team member for a Forbes 5-star rated resort and casino; hiring, onboarding and providing a high-quality employee experience.Upon getting my master\'s degree in HR Management, I transitioned into an administrative role at a tech company, supporting the Head of People Ops and the Human Resources team as a whole. I was fortunate enough to be able to engage in various responsibilities, projects and mentorship over those 2 years that helped expand my knowledge within the Human Resources field.I have now been with UNLV Health for 2.5+ years. I have grown within the Human Resources team, starting as a Generalist and am now the HR Business Partner. My main duties include supporting our employees who work for the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine\'s clinical practices. I am responsible for Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, Workers Compensation, Leave of Absences (including FMLA & ADA), Onboarding, New Hire Orientation, HRIS Management, Performance Management, Compensation Analysis, Reporting, Employee Health, and much more.
