ABOUT DIANA LARANANG
As a native San Diegan, Diana Laranang is committed to her community. She currently works as a Staff Attorney for the ABA\'s Immigration Justice Project (IJP). IJP seeks to promote due process and access to justice through the provision of high-quality legal services on behalf of indigent immigrants and asylum seekers. Outside of work Diana is on the board of Pag-asa Law Clinic, a non-profit legal organization providing pro bono and low-cost legal services for the Filipino community in San Diego. Diana\'s focus is on immigration law and intellectual property, she is passionate about advocating for individuals navigating complex legal processes. Diana is also a board member of the Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego (FALSD). Additionally, she achieved a remarkable feat by scoring high enough on the February 2024 Uniform Bar Examination (UBE) to be barred in all 41 states that are apart of the UBE. Diana is currently barred in the state of New Mexico and is also planning to be barred in California.
