About Diana Karczmarczyk
Dr. Diana Karczmarczyk is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist and Project Management Professional who holds an MPH degree in public health with a focus on community health education and a PhD in Education with a minor in public health and a specialization in international education. She is highly skilled in health education & promotion, curriculum development, program management, program evaluation, grant writing, grant management, qualitative research, supervision, volunteer management, and public speaking. Dr. K has been teaching public health courses in higher education for 20 years on topics including men’s health, women\'s health, sexuality and human behavior, trauma, sexual violence, mental health and suicide prevention, health education and promotion, health behavior theory, program planning and evaluation, personal health and wellness, social determinants of health, and community needs assessments and partnerships. She has published two textbooks. Dr. K is the co-editor of Men\'s Health: An introduction and the co-author of Health Education and Promotion: A skills-based approach. She is also the co-author of two children\'s books focused on positive mental health and celebrating diversity. Finally, Dr. K is also a former Commissioner for the Commission for Women in the City of Alexandria.
