ABOUT DIANA CARRILLO

From the Bench to the Scientific Customer Support Team:I have more than 8 years of experience in laboratory and clinical research. The main techniques include Flow Cytometry, Molecular Biology, Western Blotting and Cell Culture among others.I have worked as a quality assurance supervisor at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Hematology-Oncology Research and in the Pathology Department’s Biobanking Center. I obtained a master’s degree in Biotechnology from Columbia University while also managing the Hematology-Oncology Biobanking initiative at the Herbert Irving Cancer Center for 5 years. Throughout my career, I cultivated my proficiency in laboratory techniques, while simultaneously executing clinical trial protocols and experimental initiatives.My background provided me a valuable insight into the struggles and needs of the scientific community which led me to pursue a position that will cater to these needs. In 2019, I joined ThermoFisher Scientific as an Associate Account Manager supporting large academic accounts such as Memorial Sloan Kettering, Columbia University and Weill Cornell Medical Center. Today, in my latest role as an Account Manager, my main objective is to enable and support the innovative development of Biotech and Academic institutions in NYC.I look forward to collaborating with you to troubleshoot through any challenges.
