With six years of industry experience, I am a senior software engineer who is passionate about developing technology solutions to empower populations technology often skips over. I\'ve worked at startups and big tech alike, such as at TruckSmarter, a startup that connects shippers and carriers through a digital platform that simplifies and streamlines the transportation process. At Meta, I was a product generalist where I wrote code across web and mobile platforms for the Acquisition and Identification teams in the Core Growth Organization. I also mentored new engineers, drove team culture, and collaborated with cross-country colleagues. In addition, I have a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, where I studied design thinking, app development, machine learning, and physics.I am inspired by John Q. Worked to architect and implement an internal performance review platform (PATH), including multiple databases, a backend layer with four microservice APIs, and six different frontend React apps. Coordinated efforts across four different smaller teams to build an MVP and scale-up the application for enterprise-wide wide launch, going from a user pilot to associates. Achieved over $20M in company cost savings through the build-out of automated operations workflows, an in-application live calibration experience, and integrating PATH with other internal applications. Mentored five junior and mid-level engineers from on-boarding to success completion of Capital One’s technical development program (TDP).
